Marty is the Founder and CEO of Waterstone Human Capital, which he launched in 2003 to help organizations build high-performance cultures through executive search, leadership development, and culture advisory. A recognized authority on culture as competitive advantage, Marty created several national and international recognition programs, including Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, Canada’s Most Admired CPCO, America’s Most Admired Nonprofit Cultures, and Canada’s Most Admired CEO awards. He is also the author of two books on leadership and culture — Culture Connection (2011) and The Culturepreneur (2021). With a career that began at Johnson & Johnson and Labatt before moving into executive search, Marty has become a sought-after advisor to CEOs and boards across North America. He is an active member of YPO, a frequent speaker on culture and leadership, and, alongside his wife Tanya, is a proud parent of five who divides his time between Ontario and Florida
RACHEL KENT
PRINCIPALRECRUITER
Rachel Kent is a seasoned executive recruiter with over 20 years of experience at leading global brands, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Fossil, Sabre, and Qualtrics. Driven by a passion for people and an entrepreneurial mindset, she founded KentManning to deliver a more personalized, relationship-driven executive search experience.
KentManning now operates in partnership with Waterstone Human Capital, combining Rachel’s boutique, founder-led approach with the scale and resources of a globally respected executive search and leadership advisory firm. Rachel continues to lead searches with the same hands-on commitment and industry insight, now supported by Waterstone’s expanding U.S. and global platform.
A University of Oklahoma alum, Rachel splits her time between Dallas, TX, Bartlesville, OK, and Stockholm, Sweden. Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, traveling internationally, and cheering on the Sooners.
